We carry a wide variety of hot-sauces and seasonings, with quality flavor and island-grown recipes being the litmus test, rather than just  heat - unique, excellent flavors and versatility are our goal We haven't been dubbed the  "Chiliheads Headquarters" of the Island  for nothing! Please come visit our store on the main drag of beautiful historic Makawao, paniolo town of the Upcountry  and have a taste! We are not set up for online mail-orders at this time - sorry! But hey, you needed an excuse to visit Maui anyway, right?

Aloha!  At HI Hearth & Leisure, the sauces are chosen mostly for flavor, not heat, and uniqueness/usability.
Heat is cheap and easy, custom brewing is slow and tedious,
 following recipies and specific ingredients chosen for qualities that set them apart is what catches our attention.

 There is little point in trying to name them all here, as you need to simply come to our store!

 I have an ever-widening range of made-in-Hawaii products and unique Island labels.
Many of these you simply won't find at your regular grocery stores - Put simply, it's the best selection in the State!
Spices, which are just as important, are again a specific, locally made, quality selection that are absolutely fresh all the time.
 A small number of outstanding Mainland Rubs & Spices are also available.


The BBQ grills and stoves & fireplaces were our start, but the sauces are a personal commitment to providing
 an unending source of quality products and daily fun with the customers as they get to taste samples of the spices.     

So: that's why we don't bother to name them all here -   I am not here to hurt people,  it is all about flavor, not 'macho' heat.
